My FIRST YouTube Halloween Tutorial

My FIRST YouTube Halloween Tutorial

So GUYS!!! It’s been a while I’ve been very busy and discarded my blog because I’ve done a lot of writing recently at work, on courses and I’m just tired all the time *sigh*.

Anyway, you’ll never guess what I did. I took my rubbish camera. Sat under my floating bed. AND FILMED A YOUTUBE TUTORIAL. Ok so yes the quality is average, but it does the job. I would be over the moon if everyone followed me and my progress; sticking by me to watch me improve. I have around 58 subscribers at the moment and I’m so chuffed. I am pretty angry that YouTube decided to choose the clip of me applying lip balm as the video preview. Mouth gaping open. Bog eyed. Looking like a total prick to be honest. I think you have to have a subscription to choose the frame you would like as your video preview. If anyone knows, please tell me because the video preview is horrific :)))). Did you also know that the average good camera is £500, with £400 for a lens and then ring lighting is approximately £20?? The list just goes on and on and on. No one can afford that stuff. It all just takes time and I really would appreciate it if everyone was patient with me. You can subscribe here.

For my first video, I got a rather good reaction. 800 views, 20+ likes and support off lots of friends. This Halloween Tutorial was made up on the spot. It could have been better but with the time limit of the video on iMovie and my phone storage I had to keep it short. So, take a look at the finished piece!! And yes I am SUPER ANNOYED that I only just noticed the black blob of mascara chilling on my brow bone AFTER I took off all my makeup and had already taken pictures. Maybe that’s why someone disliked my video, who knows (or cares).

The best product for this look is NYX Cosmetics White Liquid Liner. White liners help to optimise and maximise every look. They’re prominent, defined highlighters that add definition to everything. I highly recommend this product for Halloween makeup, as well as any other makeup tbh! I use this for skeleton teeth, creating definition, highlighting shaded areas and for normal eyeliner too! It’s great for a cat eye creation.

So, check out the vid!! It’s 15 mins long, has super irritating music on it, but really helps! I don’t talk on this video because I was too scared, but I show all products on screen, and hopefully in time, I will be more confident in front of a camera!
