I couldn’t enter 2020 without these products

So, as we are mid-way through the first month of 2020, I wanted to share with you all the main products I used on myself and clients throughout 2019. These are the products I can’t do a full face without. Whether this be a full glam or a day-to-day natural glam, these products always find their way into the mix.

1. L’Oreal Hydra Genius Moisturiser

I’ve had this moisturiser for a while now and as you all know I’ve had many issues with my skin in the past. This moisturiser is the best for my sensitive skin. It comes in three types: sensitive/dry skin, normal to dry skin and combination skin. I use the sensitive to dry skin formula and it is beautiful on the skin. It soaks straight into the skin and doesn’t sit on top of the skin like many cheap moisturisers. You can buy this from Boots or Tesco for £10 (£6 when offers are on).

2. Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

I have used this foundation for a few years now and it is the most flawless, tough, long-lasting but not too thick foundation I have ever tried. Unfortunately, it is being discontinued by Urban Decay (so we have been told by a UD MUA in House of Fraser). I’m so heartbroken about this. Please grab this foundation whilst you can as it’s unbelievable. I use shade 4 and always apply foundation with the MAC 187 brush.

3. NARS Creamy Concealer

The NARS creamy concealer is an incredible concealer. For a long time now I have used this underneath my foundation and on top of my foundation for a gorgeous finish. It’s smooth, creamy and so easy to blend. The only thing I’d say about this product is that it runs out quickly due to the packaging style. However, it’s worth giving it a try to experience just how amazing it is. I always blend this product with a beauty blender.

4. MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter

Now, the NARS creamy concealer wouldn’t be complete without being combined with the MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter in Lightboost. This gorgeous underage brightener is a matte, creamy pale yellow colour and is incredible for brightening the under eyes. I have never gone a day without using this and I absolutely adore it. I always blend this product with a beauty blender.

5. MAC Peaches Blush

On the topic of MAC, the Peaches Blush is one of my newly found go-to’s. It’d vibrant, hardly requires any product on the brush and adds a fantastic splash of colour to the skin. It’s super pigmented and gorgeous when applied to the cherry of the cheeks, the chin and forehead. I always apply blush with the Zoeva 127 brush which is only £15 from BeautyBay.

6. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow

I have tried for a long time now to find a bronzer that isn’t pigmented orange. This is the answer. Super pricy unfortunately but super bendable, flawlessly finishing and incredibly gorgeous brown colour. It’s the only bronzer that actually bronzes you rather than making you look orange. At a whopping £49, I like to tell myself as you’re getting a bronzer and a highlighter in this palette, you’re technically paying £24.50 for a bronzer and for a highlighter. I use shade light to medium and use the Zoeva 127 brush to apply.

7. Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder

I always set my under-eyes with the Laura Mercier Setting Powder. It creates a flawless finish for all makeup and depending on your skin type, the more oily you are the more powder you can apply. I swear by this powder and apply it with a MAC 116 brush.

8. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is such a beautiful product that I can’t live without. This product is a multi-purpose cream highlighter. I use it on bare skin in summer such as being out in the day when on holiday; and I use it as a cream highlighter for the tear duct, cupids bow, cheekbones, chin and forehead. I use shade 3 and apply the product with my finger.

9. Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold Trio

The Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold Trio is a gorgeous selection of three different shades of highlighters: the first being pale gold, the second being a rose gold/pale pink and the third being a dark, bronzed shimmering gold. I love this palette so much because I have different coloured highlighters to compliment the style of my makeup. I use the gold colour for bronzed looks, the pinky colour for any brown/rose gold eye looks; and the dark bronze for my temples when wanting to achieve a super bronzed-dewy look. I apply this with the MAC 224 brush.

See below the finished look using all the my favourite, go-to products. These products I cannot live without and I highly suggest anyopne to go and take a look at trying these products out.
